Ho ho ho! Just in time for Christmas, the Daily Hampshire Gazette finally gets around to telling us that South Hadley will be building their own community network. The decision was made in October. We told you about it when we learned about it in November.
Not talked about is our own city’s inertia so far on this issue, not that we aren’t trying to break the logjam. We have over 400 combined paper and electronic signatures to build a network. We have the support of the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce, Northampton Community TV and at least two city council members … we plan to talk to the whole lot of them.
